Ca’ del Cuco embodies the commitment and passion of Valter Grossi who has been breeding Maremmano Abruzzese Sheepdogs and studying wildlife, especially large alpine predators and their biological and ethnological characteristics, for over twenty years.
An innovative training course (LGD Training Centre) to get to know and learn more about guardian dogs: their characteristics, good breeding practices, handling and use at work. The course is for livestock breeders, dog owners, dog trainers, vets and enthusiasts in general.
The dogs live outdoors, in close contact with nature, and are well socialised with humans, conspecifics and the sheep and goats on the farm.
